Sikh, and ye shall find!

(Greg here)
I hope it is not blasphemous to use scripture to create a pun, but I couldn't resist! I do so love puns. Ok, so "Sikh" is the shorter version of "Sikhism" a religion centered largely in Punjab, India. It is relevant to our adoption story through a very long, convoluted string of events affecting a family in our neighborhood. The short story is the neighbors had to quickly move to Kansas last summer after the husband lost his job. Their house has been empty and sitting on the market since then. We leave for India this coming Sunday and our neighbors home just sold to DRUM ROLL PLEASE a family from India, practicing the Sikh religion, and sporting a 4 1/2 year old girl! For those keeping score, we are also bringing home a girl from India who is 4 1/2 years old. How cool is that?!! The other excellent opportunity is that when we moved into our current house, we prayed that we would be able to use our home as an outreach tool for other families in the neighborhood, particularly to the children. Now the Lord has arranged to have the mission field come to us after we return from it. NICE!!
