This is carved mammoth ivory. The balls on the sculptures have over 40 layers!
They carry amazing things on bikes. This guy was deliverying water and had 12 five gallon bottles!
This woman was washing silk worm coccoons. She would open them up, remove the worms, then rinse them out. They would get stretch, dried and spun. On the right are bags and bags of silk worm coccoons waiting to be cleaned. Oh, and the restaurant last night served silk worms too!
